A small ancient Egyptian high silver content electrum amulet, likely of the walking wolf god, Wepwawet, rather than Anubis. The amulet is modelled both sides and has a suspension loop and ring at the top. Small amounts of bitumen deposits remaining from the embalming process.


New Kingdom period: Circa 1550 to 1070 BC


Very Fine condition; complete and intact.

Length 16 mms (0.6 ins)


Provenance: From a private collection acquired by the previous owner's father in the 1950's.
