Condition: Very Fine, complete and intact, with encrustations to the interior.

Rim diameter 20.6 cms (8.1 ins)

Height 13.4 cms (5.3 ins).


Amongst the earliest of civilisations which flourished in the barren Bible lands, the peoples of the Early Bronze Age who built the first cities produced pottery, which was beautifully and simply crafted. Such decoration to the bowl is typical of the early Bronze Age period in this region.
