A small red stone cylinder seal accompanied by the photocopy of a signed note by Professor Lambert which states: 'Seal of reddish stone. The design is a frieze of chevrons between upper and lower rulings. This is a seal in the Sumerian, Jemdet Nasr tradition, c.3000 B.C., but it may have come from any part of Mesopotamia. It is in good condition and a nice example of its kind'.
