A Roman terracotta mould-made oil lamp decorated with a low-relief scene of the erotic scene of two lovers. The lamp has a ribbed shoulder and recessed discus, short nozzle with raised volute scrolls, The reverse consists of an incised base ring.
Circa 1st Century AD.
Fine Condition.
Length 8.9 cms (3.5 ins).
