A Roman yellow glass juglet with a single handle. The vessel has an out-turned rim, a piriform body and stands on a flat base, indented in the centre. The handle is attached underneath the rim and to the shoulder.


Circa 1st-2nd century AD.


Condition: A large chip to the rim above the handle

Height 10 cms (3.9 ins).


Provenance: Belgium private collection of Mr. and Mrs. S., Ghent, Belgium. Acquired from Eslampanah, Brussels, in April 2016
