An Anglo-Saxon leaf-shaped iron spearhead with a raised midrib that forms a flatten diamond shape in cross section. The blade point is slightly rounded and at the other end a long socket for receiving the spear shaft.
Circa 6th century AD.
Fine condition; a little pitting, but generally well conserved, with good stable metal.
