A light blue faience amulet of Isis-Hathor. The goddess wears a cow's horn and disc and a long close-fitting sheath dress seated on a throne, holding the infant Horus to her breast, supporting his head with her left hand. A horizontal piercing just above the throne at the back for suspension. Supplied with acrylic display stand.

 

Egyptian Ptolemaic period: Circa 4th-1st century BC.

 

Very Fine condition. Complete and intact.

Height 38.6 mms (1.5 ins).

 

Provenance: Ex London gallery; previously in a 1930's. Home counties UK collection of a lady.
