A Greek South Italian black glaze kantharos with twin lateral handles. The twin strap handles rise from the rim and extend to the ring base, each with a spur pointing downwards.
Apulian Greek colonies of Southern Italy: Circa 4th century BC.
Condition: Complete and intact; the surface of the glossy black glaze with numerous scratches which expose the underlying beige fabric.
