A Roman Loeschcke type I C oil lamp in brown terracotta. The discus decorated with a fisherman, carrying two baskets on a yoke whilst looking backwards, seemingly with a gleeful expression. A rare type.
 
Circa 60-100 AD.
 
Very Fine condition.
Length 8.3 cms (3.3 ins).
