A Roman oil lamp type Loeschcke IC. The discus is decorated with gladiator or military weapons comprising two shields and two swords arranged around the central filling hole. A volute nozzle at one end, a pierced handle at the other. On the underside, a sandal as a workshop mark.
Circa 80-120 AD.

Very Fine condition; a neat repair to part of the nozzle, otherwise intact.
