A Roman glass double balsamarium in green coloured glass. The unguentarium is formed as a pair of conjoined tubes with slightly flared tops with thickened rims and decorated with applied glass trail, extending in a snake-pattern below the rim to near the base on each side; the base bulbous and slightly flattened. The glass with a few areas of light.
Roman Eastern Mediterranean: Circa 375-425 A.D.
Condition: Very Fine: Complete and intact; a stable stress crack on one side.
