Roman terracotta oil lamp, mould-made in orange-buff clay. The lamp has a discus which shows the goddess, Diana frontal, striding to right, holding a bow and pulling an arrow out of her quiver. A filling hole and vent hole above and below, with a solid lug handle at the rear. The base with the old collection number in black.
 
Ancient Roman eastern Mediterranean: Circa 200-300 AD.
 
Condition: Top of the lug handle restored, otherwise complete and intact: the scene worn but clearly recognizable.
