A provincial Roman terracotta oil lamp. The discus is decorated with the bust of the goddess Luna. She is shown in a frontal portrait with her hair styled away from her face, above a crescent moon slightly encompassing the portrait. Between her head and one of the tusks is the filling hole. The base with the old collection number in black.
Roman Empire: 2nd-3rd century AD.
Complete and intact; the scene a little worn.
