A Roman African red slip ware terra sigillata pottery lagynos (bottle). The vessel has a cupped rim, a tubular neck; strap handle with two grooves and a carinated angular body. Semi-matt slip down to mid-lower body.

Very fine condition.
Height 21.1 cms (8.3 ins).
 
Provenance: From a Danish private collection. In the period 1971-1991 deposited at the Odense University, study collection, department of Classical Archaeology.
